In-plane PFM images of two BiFeO3 surfaces

Two separate 18µm PFM images (in-plane amplitude) showing BiFeO3/SrRuO3/DyScO3 (left)
and BiFeO3/SrRuO3/SrTiO3 (right). For both images the top surface is BiFeO3
and the domain structure is templated by the base level substrate (DyScO3 and SrTiO3).
Imaged with the Cypher AFM.
