PFM Lithography Movie

This Nanoscale Winter Sleigh Ride was compiled from 64 consecutive images of nanoscale domains lithographically defined in a ferroelectric thin film.

Each 8µm x 8µm image was aquired in just 12 seconds with High Speed Piezoresponse Force Microscopy (PFM), developed at UConn in 2007, and using an Asylum Research MFP-3D AFM.

Ferroelectric film (30nm PZT) provied by R. Ramesh, UC Berkeley.
