Call For Abstracts

The call for abstracts is now closed. If you would like to participate in the poster session, please email Terry Mehr.


Equipment Workshop

Applications Scientists will instruct small groups of three researchers on a specific
AFM topic. Instruction will be carried out on the MFP-3D™ AFM. Attendees may sign up
for two workshop topics. Registrants may now sign up for their workshop sessions.


Registration

The conference fee covers all lunches, coffee breaks, the reception, and workshop participation. Registration fees may be paid by credit card or purchase order. Pre-registration will end Nov. 12. Register now.

Preg-registration before Nov.12:
• €200 faculty/industry/post doc

After Nov.12 and on-site registration:

• €150 students

Note that attendees are responsible for their own travel and accommodation.

The Forum will be held at University College Dublin, Ireland in the Conway Institute of Biomolecular and Biomedical Research.

UCD Map

Air
Dublin airport is about a 30 minute drive to UCD. Aircoach operates a service from Dublin Airport to Leopardstown / Sandyford / Stillorgan which passes UCD. Further details are available at Aircoach.

Train
Dublin is served by two main railway stations: Connolly Station and Heuston Stations. It is a short walk from Connolly Station to O’Connell Street, where the Dublin Bus numbers 3, 10 and 11B can be boarded for UCD. There are frequent connecting services from Heuston Station to the city centre. For further information please visit Iarnróad Eireann (Irish Rail).

Bus
Dublin Bus
Dublin Bus numbers 3, 10, 11B, and the 17 all provide direct services to the Belfield campus. The numbers 3, 10 and 11B can be boarded at O’Connell Street. Bus 46A may be taken from the city centre. 46A stop is located across the Stillorgan Road, in front of the Montrose Hotel. Bus Éireann
Bus Éireann operates two free daily shuttle services from UCD, Belfield Campus to Busáras (Central Bus Station, Dublin). For further information please visit Bus Éireann.
