Asylum Research UK User Meeting and Forum– 21 June, 2011

Asylum Research will be holding its 3rd UK User Meeting and Forum on June 21, (the day before the RMS UK SPM Meeting) in Edinburgh, UK. The User Meeting is open to all Asylum users and AFM researchers that are interested in sharing their research results and learning more about the technical advancements in AFM/SPM. The day will include morning talks (submitted) followed by the very popular Equipment Lab/Ask-the-Expert sessions and a happy hour poster session.

1:00pm to 5pm Equipment Labs/Ask-the-Experts with Cypher and MFP-3D
AFM Tutorials
5pm to 7pm Poster Session and Happy Hour

Equipment Labs and AFM Tutorial topics may include:

• Electrical measurements
• Fluid imaging
• Force measurements and mapping
• PFM
• Multifrequency techniques
• High resolution imaging
• Imaging of cells.
• IGOR Pro/ModeMaster
• Bio sample prep

Attendees may attend the tutorials when they are not scheduled for an equipment lab. Be sure to indicate your choice of labs on your registration form. If you would like to cover a specific topic that is not in the list, be sure to let us know


Call for Abstracts

Abstracts will be accepted for talks (20 minutes) and for the poster session-we'll have prizes for the best poster.

Abstract deadline - May 27

Topics include, but are not limited to AFM for life science applications, materials science, nanomechanics, and new imaging modes.
